Elena Kolotusha

Wildlife artist. Elena works in various media, including painting in oils/acrylics, colour pencils/mixed media and scratchboard engravings. Her favourite genres are animal/wildlife portraiture and observational still life drawing with emotional engagement and a hint of quirkiness and symbolism. Elena is a Fellow member of Australian Guild of Realist Artists – AGRA, International Society of Scratchboard Artists (ISSA).
Her works were published in “Inspiration Wild: an Artistic Celebration of Nature and Environment” (Australia), “50 Masters of Realistic Imagery” (Germany), “Art journey – Animals /a Collection of Inspiring Contemporary Masterworks” (USA) and many times in ”Australian Artist’’ magazine.
Elena’s art has won several international prizes, including the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize, the Kenneth Jack Memorial Prize, the Mortimore Art Prize, the First prize in “Graphic Art. The portrait of the Animal” category in the Golden Turtle Art Contest, the Bendigo Easter Art Show, the Victor Harbor Rotary Art Show etc.
