The International Wildlife Festival “Golden Turtle” successfully concluded in Vladivostok

The International Wildlife Festival “Golden Turtle” successfully concluded in Vladivostok, becoming one of the region’s major cultural and environmental events of the year. Residents and visitors of the city had the opportunity to explore an international exhibition of outstanding wildlife photography and take part in lectures, workshops, and documentary film screenings dedicated to the beauty and fragility of nature. The exhibition featured around 100 remarkable works by finalists of the international Golden Turtle competition, representing photographers from Russia and many other countries. Special attention was given to the unique biodiversity of the Russian Far East. As part of the festival, an extensive educational program was organized for schoolchildren and families, along with interactive meetings and expert talks aimed at promoting environmental awareness and inspiring a responsible attitude toward nature. The total attendance reached 15,437 visitors, demonstrating strong public interest in environmental culture and wildlife art in Vladivostok. The festival once again reaffirmed its mission — to inspire, educate, and unite people around the idea of preserving the planet’s natural heritage. The festival was held with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation.
