SPECIAL CATEGORY “WILD NATURE OF PRIMORSKY REGION”
As part of the 20th International Contest of the Golden Turtle Festival, a special category “Wild Nature of Primorsky region” is announced. The category is held with the support of the Presidential Nature Foundation.
The category is dedicated to the unique nature of the Russian Far East — a region where sea coasts meet taiga forests and where rare and remarkable species of wildlife can still be found in their natural habitats. The goal of this category is to draw attention to the natural richness of Primorsky region and to present it through the lenses of photographers.
Photographs of wild animals and natural landscapes taken within the territory of Primorsky region are accepted for participation.
Participation Conditions
Participation is open to everyone — both residents of Primorsky region and photographers who have taken photographs in the region.
To participate in the Contest, applicants must send their application and contest works to the email address:
contest@wnfest.ru
Each participant may submit no more than 10 works.
Restrictions
The following works will not be accepted for the Contest:
• photographs depicting domestic animals (cats, dogs, horses, etc.);
• photographs taken using live bait or in captivity.
A mandatory condition for participation is compliance with the environmental legislation of the Russian Federation, as well as ethical treatment of animals and their habitats.
