THE QUARTER-FINAL VOTING IN THE «GOLDEN TURTLE» PHOTO CONTEST HAS CONCLUDED

Following the results of the quarterfinal voting, 518 photographers advanced to the semifinal stage. The number of photographs selected for the semifinals in each category is as follows:

- 216 photographs out of 2224 in the “Animals in the Environment” category (from 323 quarterfinalists);
- 92 photographs out of 262 in the “Reserved Russia” category (from 140 quarterfinalists);
- 132 photographs out of 1003 in the “Art and Nature's Image” category (from 198 quarterfinalists);
- 138 photographs out of 712 in the “Magic of Plants” category (from 227 quarterfinalists);
- 132 photographs out of 1156 in the “Microcosm” category (from 190 quarterfinalists);
- 45 photographs out of 830 in the “Mobile Photography” category (from 62 quarterfinalists);
- 202 photographs out of 1637 in the “Landscape” category (from 285 quarterfinalists);
- 238 photographs out of 1713 in the “Animal Behavior” category (from 322 quarterfinalists);
- 132 photographs out of 353 in the “Underwater World” category (from 207 quarterfinalists);
- 241 photographs out of 1706 in the “Animal Portrait” category (from 322 quarterfinalists);
- 34 photographs out of 80 in the “Nature through the eyes of children” category (from 48 quarterfinalists);
- 59 photographs out of 323 in the “Nature through the eyes of youth” category (from 98 quarterfinalists);
- 96 photographs out of 722 in the “Humans and Nature” category (from 143 quarterfinalists).
